OK, I just want to be sure!
A while ago, I looked at the man ATT System V release 3 man page for SDB
and concluded that it was not a source level debugger.
I just read an Intel blurb(sp?) on the wonders of the 386 and they mentioned
the 386's Hardware support for debug of ROM resident code, they say "Sys V
release 3's SDB debugger is a source level debugger that will be capable of
accessing...".
Is System V release 3's SDB "source level" or not?
P.S. when I say "source level", I mean roughly the functionality of BSD's
DBX.
Thanks,
Mitchell
