[comp.unix.questions] BITNET Access in UNIX Systems

BECKER%HUMBER.BITNET@wiscvm.wisc.EDU (Bruce Becker) (07/03/87)

Recently, we have installed Berkeley 4.3 UNIX on our VAX/750 -
we now hope to connect it to one or more networks...
The most logical choices for us appear to be USENET,
and BITNET (since a IBM host is local to the VAX).
The immediate questions I have are:

1). Can one run USENET & BITNET at the same time?

2). How can one get BITNET software for 4.3 BSD UNIX?

Thanx in advance -
