Can someone give me details on how to read a tar-format tape on a non-Unix machine? I need to know such goodies as logical record length and blocksize. I am interested specifically in reading tar tapes via Primos (ugh!). Thanks. -- - Dan Rice, Swarthmore College, Swarthmore PA 19081 ``I hear you're mad about Brubeck... I wrote it about two years ago and it has been revised a few times in committee. I've written a TAR for Data General AOS/VS and MS-DOS so, from experience, you shouldn't have too much trouble writing one for other OS's. Joe Boykin Custom Software Systems ...necntc!custom!boykin
