If you like good Chinese food, I can recommend the course
given by Colleen Fong, of Colleen's Chinese Cuisine
in Cambridge (close to MIT, on Main Street, a block off Mass Ave).

The course consists of four sessions (Beef, Chicken, Pork, Fish).
During the session you learn several recipes, which she prepares
for you and then everyone gets to pig out. When I took the course,
sessions were $20. Classes are usually small (~6 - 12 people), so
you can ask plenty of questions.

To sign up, either call (617) 661-1660, or put your name on
a list there in the restaraunt. When she gets a course together
she calls people on the list.

I think it is a good "Basic" course because she explains
techniques, and how ingredients work, and how to use them in
general. So now I can "whip up" things, rather than following
	recipes EXACTLY, etc.
