Good day! I am the operator of a public access UNIX system. We have
been given an opportunity to purchase a Wicat System 200 minicomputer
at a very reasonable price. The system would be quite useful to us
due to its Fujitsu Eagle 474mb drive, 9 track magtape, and 20 port mux.
We have several concerns, however. First, the Wicat requires a great
deal of power from what I understand. Does anyone know the approximate
power requirement for the aforementioned configuration? We are also
interested in purchasing UNIX for the machine, but Wicat seems to only
sell System V. Does anyone know if 4.x BSD is available for this machine?
