One of our faculty wants to get a computer algrebra system known as "Reduce". All they know is that it is LISP-based, runs on a VAX with Unix, and they thought it was developed by Rand Corp. They also thought it was ported to AT&T 3B2s. I would appreciate any information you could provide about getting this product. Thanks in advance. ______________________________________ Harvard Townsend, Systems Manager Dept. of Computing & Information Sciences Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS 66506 (913)532-6350 CSNET: harv@cis.ksu.edu -or- harv@kansas-state.csnet BITNET: harv@ksuvax1.bitnet -or- harv%ksuvax1.bitnet@cunyvm.cuny.edu UUCP: ihnp4!wnuxa!ksuvax1!harv AT&T Mail: attmail!htownsend

A variety of UNIX-based versions of Reduce are indeed available. I'll post you a copy of the current information package in a following message. Anyone else on info-unix can obtain the same information by sending a message to reduce@rand-unix.arpa (or ...!randvax!reduce if you are using UUCP).
