Another good Mexican dessert (besides pralines) is Flane.  It's an egg
custard with a hard butterscotch sauce.  If you see it on a restaurant
menu, try it!

Perhaps you mean flan, an egg custard with a caramel sauce.  Do try it!
(In fact, it is not too difficult to make at home.  There are only two
tricky parts - one is pouring the caramel into the bottom of the flan
dish and speading it around before it hardens, the other is dealing 
with the mandatory pan of water the custard must bake in.  But it's worth
it!)
