Whenever I get a mail message from a remote site, the From line shows it to be either from me(!) or from uucp. For example: From pjh Fri Feb 5 15:17 EST 1988 >From uucp Fri Feb 5 15:17 EST 1988 forwarded by uucp >From RPICICGE.BITNET!LISTSERV Fri Feb 5 15:13:30 1988 remote from princeton Received: from (TCPMAINT)RPICICGE.BITNET by CICGE.RPI.EDU on 02/05/88 at 15:14:56 EDT Received: by RPICICGE (Mailer X1.25) id 0395; Fri, 05 Feb 88 15:14:50 EDT Date: Fri, 5 Feb 1988 15:14 EDT From: Revised List Processor(1.5m) <princeton!CICGE.RPI.EDU!LISTSERV> Subject: Output of your job "pjh%mccc" To: mccc!pjh Status: RO > /PDGET PD:<MSDOS.EDITOR>EMACS14C.ARC ***Emergency request-limit cutback in effect. ***Requests limited to 1 per day. As MIT is distributing many copies of a great deal of software, and they only use one format, I suspect it is "universal". Is there some flag I can change so that when I reply from inside 'mail' or 'mailx' it will go to the address in the 'From:'?
