Has anyone been having the same problems getting phone(1) to work on their system? Here we have BSD4.3+ running and we've tried all sorts of codes with no luck. I hear from people running phone on their 4.3's and so I ask them if we could get the code from them but even this code is incomplete in some way. Does anyone have BSD4.3+ and have phone(1) running? If you do, could you possibly send me the code? I'll accept checks and money orders...but, seriously, I'll take it in uuencoded form or anything. Just tell me how you sent it. OR, if you know of the file server you picked it up off of, then that's cool too. Thanks a lot for any help. A n d r e w B i e w e r

Thanks a lot for any help. | | A n d r e w | B i e w e r I have gotten it to compile on both a 4.3 VAX machine and a 4.2 ISI. The 4.2 required some hacking, but eventually worked. The only problem was that i couldn't get access to root (and they "didnt want to install it right now") so i the only use it was was when i ran the daemon and others requested me. neat program, wish theyd consider installing it here at ucsc.
