[comp.unix.questions] Indexed man for System V

dwp@mtune.ATT.COM (964[jak]-David Preisler) (03/25/88)

In BSD Unix you can do: man -k <key words>.

This lists all man entries pertaining to the keys
so that you can find a function by what it does, rather
then solely by its name.

Is their an equivalent for System V?

                                       Thanks,

                                        David William Preisler
