I got a public domain program off of unix-sources called captoinfo. It seems to do the job alright, but I think there might be something better available that will go both ways. We are planning to revise our current Nutshell Handbook on termcap to cover terminfo as well, and we'd like to include as an appendix source for a termcap to terminfo converter. Some systems have the "official" program to do this, which is called cap2info, but many others do not. We were wondering if a public domain equivalent has appeared on the net, or if we will need to write one ourselves. Any other useful programs (as well as hints for termcap users switching to terminfo) would also be appreciated. Thanks very much.
