[comp.unix.questions] Request for public domain copy of KSH

steve@eros.ame.arizona.edu (Steve Cannon) (05/12/88)

I would like to implement the ksh shell on our mc68020 based unix
(System V, version 3) machine. Where could I grab a copy that can be
easily installed? I would prefer an email response. Thanks!

					^^^^	maybe you mean "version"?

For the nth time, Ksh is not public domain. I seriously doubt that
there are public domain programs (now) that emulate ksh. The GNU
project is working on such a thing (comments John Gilmore?).

I'd like to know too, I'll tell AT&T corporate security!

I have missed any previous postings on KSH which indicated that
it is not in the public domain. But I would like to take this op-
portunity to publicly state that I am not interested in pirated
    software, of any type.
