Does anyone out there know where I can get a public-domain version of 'script'? Just in case there is any confusion, I'm referring to the unix program that starts up a subshell and records all user interaction in a file. I'm prepared to write one of my own, but I don't want to re-invent the wheel if something like that is already available. I need source code in C that is intended to run under something unix-like. Thank you very much in advance. -- Lloyd Zusman UUCP: ...!ames!fxgrp!ljz Master Byte Software Internet: ljz%fx.com@ames.arc.nasa.gov Los Gatos, California or try: fxgrp!ljz@ames.arc.nasa.gov "We take things well in hand."

There was a 'script' program (C source) published in Unix World a year or so ago that did what you are describing. It was in the "Wizard's Grabbag" column. I can't tell you exactly when and where it occurred, I just know it was in there. Maybe someone else might be more specific. Mark. -- Mark J. Bailey "Y'all com bak naw, ya hear!"
