I am using the latest version of XENIX System V and I'm having a problem: I can't figure out how to scroll up and down while I'm reading a piece of mail! So, if the mail is longer than one screen, I can never see the top unless I print it. I know I'm probably just being stupid, i.e., missing something incredibly obvious, but that's that. If anyone can help, I appreciate it. l

To stop the vanilla "mail" or "mailx" commands from scrolling a message off the screen, issue the command set page=22 either in your .mailrc file or at the beginning of each mail session. BTW, if you're not sure of how to setup a .mailrc file, see the XENIX User Reference manual pages for "mail". Any of the "set" options may be placed in a .mailrc file.
