			Lamb Cacciatore

	4 pounds shoulder or leg of lamb, trim fat & cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
	1/3 cup olive oil
	1 small clove garlic, crushed
	1 tsp crushed dried rosemary
	1/2 tsp crushed dried sage leaves
	2 tsp flour
	1/2 cup white or wine vinegar
	1/2 cup water
	salt and pepper to taste

	Brown meat in hot oil.  Add garlic, rosemary, and sage.  Sprinkle flour
	on meat.  Add vinegar and water, and stir thouroughly.  Cover and simmer
	1 hour or until meat is tender.  Season with salt and pepper.  Stir
	frequently during cooking and add a little hot water if necessary.

	Serves 6.
