I am now repaying this newsgroup for all the yummy recipes I have taken from it. My family has cooked this dish regularly for several years without tiring of it. 1 can French-style Green Beans 1 can La Choy's Mixed Chinese vegetables 1 can mushroom soup 1 can Durkees' French fried onion rings 1 whole fryer Cheddar Cheese(shredded) 1 small onion(diced) [all cans are regular size] Cook chicken in crock-pot till thoroughly done. De-bone chicken, save some of the broth. Put the can of drained green beans in the bottom of the dish. Next spread the can of drained chinese veggies on top of this. Put the diced onion in next. Now you are ready to spread the chicken over all the other ingredients. Mix the can of mushroom soup with 1 to 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth - depending on how soupy you like the caserole. Add ground black pepper or garlic powder to taste to this mixture. Now pour this mixture over the chicken. Cook in pre-heated oven (375 degrees) for one hour. Remove bubbling caserole from oven. Spread cheese then onion rings over top. Put back in oven and broil till cheese is melted and onion rings are crispy. I suggest you serve over or with rice for most enjoyment. -- Ron Thompson AT&T Information Systems Customer Programming ..akgua!cpsc53!rt Atlanta, Georgia Services Center (Opinions expressed are mine alone.)
