[net.cooks] Cuisinarts revisited

I have been drooling over the latest Cuisinart model, the gigundo one,
DL-X I think is the model.  My folks have offered to buy it for us as
an anniversary present.  Is it worth it?  I'd like to use it for kneading
bread dough, cake & cookie batters, salads, etc, etc, etc.

Please respond by e-mail (if you can) since I think a discussion
of this type appeared recently and some folks may find it boring.
