[net.music] David Bowie Tour

I have heard repeated rumours for some months now that David Bowie will
be on tour sometime in the not-too-distant future.  Anyone know details?

I know about the current "Sights and Sounds" music and video presentation.
It was in DC and I foolishly missed it.  The reviews the next day were
excellent.

According to MTV, Bowie is selling out BIG, multiple concert dates right now
in Europe.  They mentioned one European city where 65000 tickets were sold in
ONE DAY!  A US tour is definitely in the works, and he will certainly appear
at the "Us" festival in California.  I want to see "the man with the ruined
eye and the soaring vision."

David Bowie will be at Madison Square Garden July 26-27.  But inside 
information tells me that an extra night will be added to the Garden and 
three nights to the Byrnes Meadowlands and two nights at Shea so keep in 
tune to your radio.
