I have had problems with a library depencency line in an Ultrix Makefile.
The line is of the form:
libxx.a : libxx.a(obj1.o) libxx(obj2.o) ...
With the debug switch on, the times of the library elements seem to be
current time and then the C source is not seen as out of date and nothing
gets built. All of the info I could gather on this MicroVax II is:
KA630-A.V1.3
Ultrix: VMB version 13
V2.2-1 Work system V1.1 System #1
(7.5 Meg)
MicroVax II with FPU
Any clues? Thanx in advance.
P.S. I can't seem to post to comp.unix.ultrix, so that is why I posted it
