Cherokee Publications has a book of North Amerindian recipes which includes
Apache Acorn Stew: 2&1/2 - 3 # round steak, enough sweet acorns to make
3/4 c of acorn flour, salt, wooden bowl. I've never tried it so will only
po if seriously wanted, or maybe I'll send the publisher's address to
requesters since it's inexpensive.
