[comp.unix.questions] Are Sys V/386 X-clients binary compatible among AT&T, Bell and ISC?

The Subject line says it all, I hope.

To be more exact, here's an example:
Will an X-application, with ISC' xlib linked in,
work on a host running Bell Technologies' implemention of X-windows?
Or will this fail because of proprieraty enhancements in the various
implementations?
