[comp.unix.questions] Help Needed with NFS problem

We are facing an NFS problem in a local area network including
Suns. I have a filesystem remote-mounted over the network to a Sun 3/60.
There is no problem with remote logins to this machine.
However, when logged on to the Sun, if one attempts to
read or execute the files on the remote machine, the following message
results:

	NFS read failed for server academy. RPC: timeout

'academy' being the remote machine. 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
