We at Cayman Systems are having an unusual problem: when printing large files (900K) to a LaserWriter connected by serial line to a Sun 386i running OS4, the file is truncated to about 600K (approx. 80 pages). We have heard that lpd will clip files to 1MB. Can anyone explain this behavior or point us at things to check? Thanks a lot! * * * * * * * * * * Throop M. If no limit is specified the the default of 1024 is used. If you want
no limit use mx#0.

On the systems round here the limits defaults to 1000k if not specified, you must explcitly use mx#0 to turn it off.
