[comp.unix.questions] Mounting a file system with root permission

Hi,

   I wanted to export a file system from a sun3 to a uVaxII with root
permission.  Between vaxen all you do is use -r=0 at the server and then
the allowed clients will have root permission.  For suns, I've seen the
options -anon=0 and -root=host but these don't seem to work and are not
mentioned in the man pages.  Is this possible to do?  The sun is running
Sun Unix 4.2 release 3.5.  Please reply via email.
