bgb (05/10/83)

1/2 cup butter
6 tablespoons brown sugar
6 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg

Beat til creamy
Stir in:
1 cup & 2tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Optional: 1/2 cup nuts

Spread in greased9x13 pan
Sprinkle one 6oz. package of choc. chips on top.
Bake 375 for 2 minutes.
Run knife through dough and chocolate to marbelize.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes more.

Note: I like them better cold because the chocolate gets hard while
the cookie part stays relatively soft.

Enjoy.
