1/2 cup butter 6 tablespoons brown sugar 6 tablespoons sugar 1/4 teaspoon water 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 egg Beat til creamy Stir in: 1 cup & 2tablespoons flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt Optional: 1/2 cup nuts Spread in greased9x13 pan Sprinkle one 6oz. package of choc. chips on top. Bake 375 for 2 minutes. Run knife through dough and chocolate to marbelize. Bake 10 to 12 minutes more. Note: I like them better cold because the chocolate gets hard while the cookie part stays relatively soft. Enjoy.

*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** Here is a recipe my Grandmother gave me. They are very easy to fix and quite good too! Sift together 1 cup + 2 Tbs. flour 1/2 tsp soda 1/ tsp salt Blend together* 1/2 cup butter 6 tbs white sugar 6 tbs brown sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp water beat in 1 egg. Mix in flour mixture. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) Spread in greased 9X13 pan. Sprinkle over batter 1 cup sweet chocolate bits (6 oz). Place in 375 oven 1 minute. Run knife through batter to marbelize. Bake at 375 for 12-14 minutes.
