[net.cooks] request for sweet-sour recipes

I just tried an idea I had about a sweet-sour sauce:  try putting
a small can of crushed pineapple in the blender till it's a paste,
then add sugar, vinegar, to taste; then add cornstarch (1 T. approx)
blended into a half cup of water, cook till thickened.

We used this as a dip for some gingery garlicky homemade eggrolls
(great fun and delicious) and enjoyed mucho  -- Anne
