[comp.unix.questions] Porting unix to Laserwriter IINT

mccaughe@turing.cs.rpi.edu (Eric McCaughrin) (12/01/89)

We have a spare Laserwriter around here not doing very much. So,
we were thinking of using it as a unix box. With 2 megs of memory
and a 68020, it certainly has the necessary hardware. The hard
disk that stores the fonts is a suitable swap device and could even
hold a few user files. Of course, we'd have to develop suitable
virtual memory routines and/or hardware. If anyone has had
experience with such a project, please send me e-mail.

written in PostScript.

Thanks!
