I've noticed a number of odd things happening lately on my Sun 3/160. The first is an error message 'text: table is full'. I'm not sure what this relates to, but I think it may be something to do with swapping. It's a message blatted out by the kernel as I've done a 'strings' on '/vmunix' and located the error message in it. The other odd thing is that processes are being killed off. Running a (say) C-shell script that invokes a number of processes like the compiler etc., results in many of these processes being killed and the word 'killed' appearing on the terminal that the script was invoked from. I don't think its anything to do with the max. number of processes per user in 'include/param.h' as this limit is sufficiently high and 'ps' stats don't indicate too many processes either. So, any ideas anyone?
