*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** 3 (8. oz) packages cream cheese 5 eggs 3/4 c. sugar 1 t. vanilla Cut cream cheese into squares. Throw into mixing bowl alternately with eggs and sugar. Add vanilla and mix well. Be sure to chase down any hunks of cream cheese hiding out in the center of the bottom of the bowl. Bake in a slow oven (325) until the top cracks (about 1 hour). As the cheesecake cools (sort of) melt a 6-ounce package of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Add half of a small box of sour cream (1 cup). Mix well and spread on cheescake (cool or not). Chill and serve. This is usually better (as are most cheesecakes) if you make it the day before you plan to serve it. This will taste better to you than anyone else because you know you didn't spend 6 hours doing dumb stuff like grating up orange peels. Kari Knutson ...ihnp4!stolaf!knutsonk
