[net.cooks] Peanut Blossoms

bandy@lll-crg.ARpA (Andrew Scott Beals) (02/21/86)

This recipe was gotten from Dorothy Freeman here at LLL who was very
suprised that Jane couldn't find the recipe and doesn't mind at all if
this goes out to the world. I ate a (large?) number of these just
after xmax time and they were very yummy. Do not substitute butter for
shortening or brown sugar for white sugar. I have been assured that the
cookies turn out flatter and crunchier if you do.

Disclaimer: I haven't tried this recipe (yet) myself, but I have double
and triple checked it against the copy that Dorothy gave me.

1t	[baking] soda

"Non-stuff" Ingredient:

40	Hershey's kisses

Directions:

Mix all the "stuff" together all at once. Shape dough into small balls.
