This is easily the most awesome (and most fattening) garlic bread in all the world. The recipe is from The Garlic Lover's Cook- book, one of the most awesome cookbooks in the world. Mary's Garlic Bread (recipe contest entry, Mary Mozzone, Gilroy) 1 cup butter, softened 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup mayonnaise 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced or pressed 3 tbsp. chopped fresh parsely 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 large loaf of French bread, cut lengthwise Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and slop on bread. Wrap in aluminium foil and bake for 20 minutes. Unwrap and brown slightly under broiler.
