Thanks to Sharon Badian who posted the "red" sweet & sour sauce recipe! I tried it, and it's good, but I prefer the "brown" variety. Are there any other sweet & sour sauce recipes in that good Chinese cook book, Sharon? If so, please post. Also please post the name of that cookbook again. Thanks!

Sorry, no brown sweet and sour sauce recipes in the Chinese cookbook. And the name of the book for those of you who missed it is Chef Chu's Book of Chinese Cusine (I believe; I usually just call it Chef Chu's). For those of you who live in the Mountainview area, you can eat at Chef Chu's restaurant at San Antonio and El Camino Real. It is very good. I particularly recommend the moo shu pork and the hot and sour soup. Sharon Badian ihnp4!mtgzy!seb
