[comp.unix.questions] Text Storage formats .............................

I recently downloaded some text files.  There was no mention of how
to undo the storage mechanism or even which one.

What follows is 3 examples of the different storage formats I found.
If you recognize any of them, I would greatly appreciate a note about
how to undo them.
