[comp.unix.questions] Is NFS for Motorola Delta-series available ?

aras@dr.uucp (Arne Asplem) (04/09/90)

Is there an implementation of NFS available for Motorola Delta series,
running System V Release 3 ?

If not is it possible to use implementations from other vendors ?

Yap. NFS is supported in Network Services Extension 3.6, which (suprise!)
needs System V release 3 version 6 (the most recent Moto version).

Disclaimer: I work for Moto distributor.

Motorola Part #M68NNTBVNE, list price $420. Available from Motorola or
any dealer (like us).

The other choice is to upgrade to 3.6, which includes NFS. (M6836TBV68,
$1200, or $1600 with manuals).
