I need an algorithm (in C) to determine the byte-order (LSB or MSB) of any computer with any word size. I have one example but it depends on a word size of 4 bytes and does not work properly on the Cray. Please send suggestions via Email to cristy@dupont.com. Thanks muchly in advance. -- The UUCP Mailer
