mje@olsa99.UUCP (Mark J Elkins) (07/24/90)
I have just installed bnews2.11 Patch19. Looking in the 'uucp' directory and reading the 'README' - I then tried to patch in the... uux.minus.c A mod to uux.c to support a uux -c option, e.g. (Except my uux already has a different '-c' option) =batch Code to allow commands such as uux -c yoursys!rnews '<' =/usr/lib/news/batch_/usr/spool/batch/yoursys both of which are extreamly desirable - but these patches are _old_ and I can't find half the places to patch. The source I intend to mutilate is from System V Release 3.2. Could some kind soul please MAIL me the diffs necessary? (or mail me their name if they can do so - and I'll contact _one_ of the volunteers after the floods of replies) Is there anything else I should be aware of in including this patch (and how is one intended to use them???) -- . . ___. .__ Olivetti Systems & Networks, Unix Support - Africa /| /| / /__ UUCP: {uunet,olgb1,olnl1}!olsa99!mje (Mark Elkins) / |/ |ARK \_/ /__ LKINS mje@olsa99.UUCP (Postmaster) Tel: +27 11 339 9093
