Is there an equivalent to the utility program captoinfo(ADM) found on SCO UNIX which does the opposite, ie. converts terminfo source into termcap source ? The reason for this request is that we have applications which use our own termcap capability database, which is broadly based on the standard UNIX termcap, but with certain differences. To save doing some really monotonous work transcribing terminfo stuff into termcap format or writing such a routine myself, I am posting this out in the hope that someone has already done this or can throw some light on the matter. Please do *NOT* discuss why we are using our own termcap, why we are using termcap instead of terminfo etc. etc. Please use email rather than usenet to reply and I will summerise if there is enough interest.
