I'm trying to get some info on the DYNIX C language for Sequent machines, for the purposes of figuring out how hard or easy it'd be to port some software written on a SCO XENIX 386 machine to a Sequent. Any and all suggestions, esp. from those who may have already done such porting, would be welcome and appreciated! Specifically, I'm interested in hearing about DYNIX equivalents (or lack of) for things like SCO's versions of ioctl(), shmat(), shmget(), nap(), system(), locking(), and qsort(). There are lots more, but we'll start with that list. Please e-mail any replies to: ..!ucsd!coconet!brian *not* to this WELL login.
