[comp.unix.questions] Size of a checkpointed file

Is there any way to determine the size of the checkpoint file for a job?
(before
checkpointing it).

Thanks

Beats me, what software are you using to do your checkpointing?
Checkpointing isn't a standard feature of "generic" UNIXes; some vendors
may have added it. (I've never dealt with any such checkpointing
schemes, so don't tell me what scheme you're using; if you don't get any
answers, consider reposting your question with more details about the
flavor of UNIX you're using and the checkpointing scheme you're using.)
