I'm unsing NFS between an Apollo DN3500 and a Stellar Gs2000. The Stellar is running Stellix (SYSV with sockets) and the DN3500 is running DomainOS 10.2. The problem is that when a program which has been compiled by the Stellar exists physically on the Apollo, and I try to execute it from the Stellar, I get the messgage: Process Killed. Due to the syslog error that apears (fault: process xxxx killed due to text file modification) I am inclined to belive that the Apollo is updating the file times AFTER the image has been loaded, which would cause the Stellar to think that the file had been courupted. Is there any way to stop this??? On either side? Neither Stellar (Stardent) nor Apollo seem to have any idea even who's fault it is! -AJS(asherman) -- asherman@dino.ulowell.edu or asherman%cpe@swan.ulowell.edu Note that as of 7/18/90 that's asherman@dino.cpe.ulowell.edu "That that is is that that is not is not is that it it is."
