I would like to know if there exists a WordStar-like editor available for use on a Unix system. I have programmed in a PC environment for some time know using Borland's Turbo Pascal and Turbo C/C++ and have just moved to a Unix environment. I like the editors used by Borland which are based on WordStar, and I am trying to find one available for a Unix environment. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Ray Konopka

We found a program called Fenix which fills the bill nicely. Here's the pertinant info from the opening screen of the demo version we received: Demonstration Software License from Fenix Software P.O. Box 15649 Sarasota, Florida 34277 Sales: 813-351-5532 Technical: 813-951-0336 While the demo version truncates ANY file to 50 lines, it appears to contain everything the full version does including a Spell-Star like checker. It also contains a Unix sub-menu allowing basic funtions (chmod, mkdir, etc..). After using WS to write software in compiled basic, having Fenix on a Unix system makes it feel like home :-) > Thanks, Yer welcome..... > Ray Konopka [------: Dave Ratcliffe :----------: 2832 Croyden Rd.
