I would think that even low power college radio stations have to pay artists' royalties since they are regulated by the FCC and must have licensed on-air per- sonnell (at least the FM ones anyway). So even though you can barely pick their signal on campus, they are "real" radio stations. In fact, this could the reason WCBN in Ann Arbor has been known to play cricket chirps for hours on end. 2 Ah, to be in A now that summer is here, Tom Dennehy
