Does anyone have a program capable of inserting macros or something similiar in a C program, before each function call; that will print the name of the function and its arguements? Or anything other than a dbx like tool, which will allow me to debug a flow of control problem without single stepping. I would prefer something that is freeware or shareware. Thanks in Advance Mark Levison levisonm@qucis.queensu.ca

Hello fellow UNIX landers, Recently, we were given an over-view of a C-Language library set used to produce data entry screens. During the over-view, we were told that "xdb" was an excellent symbolic debugger to use with this product. My office currently uses the "sdb" debugger supplied with the software development set for AT&T UNIX SysV for the 386. My question is: Does anyone know where we can find technical and pricing information for "xdb"? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
