We are looking for a word processing oriented editor to run under Berkeley 4.1 UNIX. We are hoping to replace a Wang word processing system that is now in use. The two major requirements are: It must operate in "what-you-see-is-what-you-get" mode. I.e., the document appears on your screen exactly as it will on the printer (like WordStar, not like vi+nroff.) It must be more "user oriented" than vi. Better prompting, menus, use of function keys would all be nice. We are already training people on vi and nroff, but feel that their productivity would improve with a better tool. Please reply by mail with any leads you may have. If interest warrants it, I'll summarize to the net. Thanks, Bob Van Valzah (...!decvax!ittvax!tpdcvax!bobvan)
