Does anyone know how to get a TI 1500 computer running TI System V (I believe it's version 2.3, but I'm not at the system now) to work in dial-out mode using a hayes compatible 2400 baud modem? We have the L.sys and L-devices files set up correctly, since we can do a cu -d systemname and everything looks right. It indicates that it is dialing the correct phone number and then connects me to the modem, but the modem never goes off hook and it never actually dials. I am more familiar with HDB uucp, and I can't find anything comparable to the Dialers file, nor is there a field in the L.sys file that would specify a dialer. The manual is of no help, since we have set up everyting according to its instructions and have double checked the setup using two people. Again, the debug ouput from cu indicates that it IS dialing, even though it isn't. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Jack Cloninger TeqSoft Tequesta, FL ...uunet!comtst!teqsoft!jmc
