I've recently discovered that sending an ASCII file from my humble C64 to Seattle Online (a 386 running SCO Xenix)loses all formatting. I'm using SpeedScript 3.0 on the C64 and creating a true ASCII file on disk. The uploaded file can't be read by ex (line too long error). I've told that this problem might be due to the C64 having only LF for each new line rather than a CR/LF. Is that true? If so, can I use a shell script to correct the mess? If so, which one? If you wanna e-mail me, I'll post a summary. Thanx. David -- David Daniel (The man with no disclaimer) tronix@polari.wa.com "Beware the Truth.
