[comp.unix.questions] Connecting to stdin

Ok, here goes, maybe SOMEONE can answer this question...

If someone else is logged in to my account, I can write to their screen via

% cat > dev/ttyXY

and the message appears (on their stdout, I assume??).  Is there any
way to direct it to stdIN, so that our UNIX box will think that the other
user actually typed it?  I would like to force the other user on my account
to execute a command this way...  trust me, there IS a good reason for this!
