[net.wanted] Font definitions?

Are there any good font definitions available as a standard,
and in public domain? Stroked are more valuable than raster, 
but either is of interest.

UCB/vtroff fonts are known, as are Hersheys definitions; are there
others??  I would rather expect some government standard for
this (beyond the NSWL..).
