[comp.unix.questions] Is the AIX3.1 compatible with the SVID?

Hi,
I am new for the AIX system. Here is my question about the AIX. Does the
AIX support the SVID like Ultrix? What I mostly concern is the IPC mechanism
defined by the SVID, such as message queue, file locking & unlocking, etc.
I would appreciate any answer. Thanks in advance.
