I got no responses to this article last time, so I thought I'd try once more: I am interested in obtaining two relatively small 100-milliwatt walkie-talkies. The smaller (especially thinner), the better. Something like the type Radio Shack used to have (I think they called it "Micro Space Patrol") would be fine. The only other requirements are that they not be hideously expensive, have cases that can be opened without damaging the units, have interchangeable crystals (this is fairly standard, I think), and have a reasonable range for a 100mW unit (typically about 1000 feet outdoors). I don't care if they are a matched set, so it's ok if I can get single units from different people. Would anyone happen to have any such walkie- talkies (in working order) that they would be willing to part with for a reasonable sum, or does anyone know of a dealer/mfgr. of such units?
